VIA Promoción del Aeropuerto de Vitoria has once again taken part in the Connect Aviation Route Development Forum, held in Girona from 3 to 5 February, together with Bilbo Air, Bilbao Turismo, and Basquetour.
The event, which brought together more than 800 delegates from airlines, airports, and business partners, has cemented its place as a key event for the aviation sector, driving new connection and development opportunities.
During the forum, VIA held strategic meetings with airlines, destinations, and air connectivity providers with a view to strengthening Vitoria Airport's position as a key gateway to Vitoria-Gasteiz, Alava, and the Basque Country.
In addition, the Basque Country stand offered tastings organised by VIA in collaboration with the Rioja Alavesa Wine Route, allowing attendees to discover the region's gastronomic wealth while boosting its attractiveness on the international scene.
With this participation, Vitoria Airport continues its commitment to expanding its air connectivity and its role in the tourist and economic development of the region.
